Something Not Worth Losing.

Devotion time or a time you spent just with the Lord, quality time ( I think you get my point, haha)

That is the most important thing to ever do. Daily seeking him.

It's like when you go out with your friends to a restaurant, waiting for the food to come.

That’s what I long for. Waiting for my spiritual food.

Word of God.

John 1v1

"In the beginning was the Word, and Word was with God, and the was God."

I desire to Hear what My Creator is gonna share with me today. I wanna know what to do next .

He is my King Of Hope.

Quietly I sat down and started praying.

You know He reminded me of a verse I read long time ago

which is

Matthew 16:26

"For what profit is it to a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?

I knew this person. Staying here in the same hostel as i am. He has changed. Um, I never heard him speaking using vulgar language.

I grew up not allowed using those kind of words, My parents never used it. Why should I right? Thank God for such good role models.

My point is that since I have been here. I was always afraid I would change. I don't want to fit in actually. I want to stand out. But Thank You Lord for providing such good company of friends. And yeah back to that person. He started to try to fit in. Almost every single sentence He uses has at least a vulgar word. Trying to be someone who we aren't, that isn't fun. He started drinking last month.

So

Why do you want to love what the people of the world are doing or the things or the world just so that you could fit in?

You gain things of the world. But if you lose your soul?

I'm not saying you have to super righteous. Even God say

in Ecclesiastes 7v16

" Do not be overly Righteous, nor be overly wise, Why should you destroy your life?"

I think What God is saying is that our life is so precious to just throw it away.

He died on the cross for a reason. That we may live a life full of Hope, Love, & Peace.

Don't change to fit in but stand out. Don't worry if people talk about you or say stuff. God sees it what you are doing. (:

That is important.
