Where Are Your Treasures Lay?

Matthew 6 v 19-21

Holy Spirit kept reminding me of this verse this whole week. 

I'm happy now that I'm more sensitive to the voice of the Holy Spirit.

I love hearing from God, But I have to admit. I am fearful at times. But good fear ( if there is such thing)

v 19 " Do not lay up yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and were thieves break and steak;

v 20" but lay up yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth not rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal.

v 21 " For Where your treasures is , there your heart will be also."

Amazing huh!

I love this word from God. He cares for us that He wouldn't want us to be hurt.

I learn a lot from the verse above.

He not only thought me to not love the world but also to always trust Him in every season of our life. The ups and down He will be there as our heart are lay in heaven. It is protected from the things of the world.

Today I learn something in church that I feel what God is wanting us to do 

From Colossians.

Paul wrote to the world that we are living in.

A world that needs Justice & Love & Peace. Peace not by man but by God.

It's time to stop complaining about what should be done or what can be done whether it is in present or past.

Its time to pray for righteousness to prevail throughout the whole earth.

Take a step of being a help to others. A small good deed makes a big impact on someone life.

God did not come for the wise,proud, the rich.

He came to give justice to the poor, the lost , the meek, the deaf, the blind, the lame. To those who people think the are not important. But they are important to God!

 Proverbs 22 v2

"The rich and the poor have this in common, The Lord is maker of them all . "

The verse in Matthew 6v 19-21 somehow relate to today's message.

If we set our treasures in Heaven so is our Hearts will be set there.

When we learn to do that. We wouldn't be in love with the things of the world. We will see things How God sees it. The world is  in need of God's love. 

A love that does not divide people from one another because their social status or

 the amount of money they have.

Love that unites everyone from every nations,cultures, tribe and tongue.

I have surrender my heart so that my treasures too will be lay in Heaven. 

I dont feel the need to impress anyone because that is not where my Heart is.

My heart is with the Lord . I know it will never be hurt because God doesn't look at my past mistakes. He has forgiven. Unlike If I give my heart here to the world. It will judge me for my past mistake. It will tear me apart because it does not satisfy. Plus it is a temporary happy feeling.

God don't do temporary He goes for eternal . 

For He is the same 2000 years ago. Today And Forevermore.

Where have you lay your heart?

 Where do you keep your treasures?

Don't fall into the trap of the world.

Set your focus on the eternal things.
